In industrial automation, there is a great need for robust devices with versatile functions and interfaces. The new fanless Embedded PC of the iBPC series from ICPDAS-EUROPE was designed with these aspects in mind.

Whether I/O modules, frequency inverters, scanners or converters - with four RS-232/422/485 ports and four USB ports, the iBPC-4081 offers a multitude of connection options.

The iBPC series also cuts a fine figure as a compact control unit. XV-I/O boards from ICPDAS-EUROPE can be retrofitted via a specially designed slot. In addition to numerous functions, the connectors of the XV boards offer advantages when connecting electrical signals. Sensors or actuators can be integrated quickly and easily.

Two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces are standard equipment. Additional functions can be integrated via a PCIe mini slot. For example, there are two SMA connectors for plugging external antennas to the housing. The iBPC-4081 has a VGA and an HDMI interface for monitors.

With the 5th generation Intel® Core™ BGA processor, NISE 3720 immediately becomes a remarkable model in the NISE family line. By comparing to the previous Ivy-Bridge mobile platform, the 5th generation mobile platform increases computing power up to 10%, and the graphical performance also increases up to 30% with Intel® HD graphics 6000. The mobile processor features ultra low power consumption (15W), and the NISE 3720 system is housing in a ruggedized design with aluminum chassis. This combination allows NISE 3720 to offer great computing/graphical power and able to run from -20 to 60 Celsius Degree.

NISE 3720 supports up to 8G DDR3L memory and provides SATAIII/CFast interfaces for storage expansions.
