The PISO-725 is a 16-channel digital input/output interface board for PCI bus computers. It can be installed in a 5 V PCI slot and supports true "Plug & Play" to automatically obtain I/O resources. The PISO-725 has a single DB-37 connector, and provides 8 electromechanical relay outputs and 8 isolated/non-isolated digital inputs. The digital inputs can be set to either isolated or non-isolated via a hardware jumper. Each of the digital inputs will generate an interrupt signal if the state is changed, which is very useful when monitoring for contact closures/openings as it is not necessary to continuously poll the inputs. The isolated DI channels use a short optical transmission path to transfer an electronic signal between elements of a circuit and keep them electrically isolated. With 3750 Vrms isolation protection, these DI channels allow the input signals to be completely floated so as to prevent ground loops and isolate the host computer from damaging voltages. Relays are used where it is necessary to control a circuit using a low-power signal (with complete electrical isolation between the control and controlled circuits), or where several circuits must be controlled by one signal. All relays are de-energized (off) while powering-on, and support On/Off status read back. The PISO-725 can be used in various applications, including contact closure, external voltage sensing, load sensing and I/O control.

The PISO-725 supports various OS versions, such as Linux, DOS, Windows 98/NT/2000 and 32/64-bit Windows 7/Vista/XP. DLL and Active X control together with various language sample programs based on Turbo C++, Borland C++, Microsoft C++, Visual C++, Borland Delphi, Borland C++ Builder, Visual Basic, C#.NET, Visual Basic.NET and LabVIEW are provided in order to help users quickly and easily develop their own applications.

The PISO-A64U card is the new generation product that ICP DAS provides to meet RoHS compliance requirement. The new PISO-A64U card is designed as a drop-in replacement for the PISO-A64, and users can replace the PISO-A64 by the PISO-A64U directly without software/driver modification.

The PISO-A64U universal PCI card supports 3.3 V/5 V PCI bus. The card provides 64 optically isolated digital output channels, each of which offers a PNP transistor and an integrated suppression diode for the inductive load. The isolated DO channels use a short optical transmission path to transfer an electronic signal between the elements of a circuit and keep them electrically isolated. The open collector outputs (DO channels) are typically used for alarm and warning notification, signal output control, control for external circuits that require a higher voltage level, and signal transmission applications, etc. The board acts as an interface to field logic signals, eliminates ground-loop problems, and isolates the host computer from damaging voltages. The cards have a DB-37 connector and a 40-pin male header, each of which contains 32 output channels.

The PISO-A64U also adds a Card ID switch on-board. Users can set Card ID and then recognizes the board by the ID via software when using two or more PISO-A64U cards in one computer.

These cards support a variety of operating systems, such as DOS, 32-/64-bit Windows XP/2003/2008/7/8 and Windows 10.

The PEX-C64 and PISO-C64U card is the new generation product that ICP DAS provides to meet RoHS compliance requirement. The new PEX-C64 and PISO-C64U card is designed as a drop-in replacement for the PISO-C64, and users can replace the PISO-C64 by the PEX-C64 and PISO-C64U directly without software/driver modification.

The PISO-C64U universal PCI card supports 3.3 V/5 V PCI bus while the PEX-C64 supports PCI Express bus. These cards provide 64 optically isolated digital output (DO) channels, each of which includes a darlington transistor that provides 3750 Vrms isolation, and an integrated suppression diode for inductive load. These DO channels are allocated into four isolated banks when using four isolated external power supplies. These DO channels act as an interface to field logic signals, eliminate ground-loop problems, and isolate the host computer from damaging voltages. These cards contains has a single DB-37 connector and a single 40-pin male header, each of which contains 32 output channels.

The PEX-C64 and PISO-C64U also adds a Card ID switch on-board. Users can set Card ID and then recognize the board by the ID via software when using two or more PEX-C64 and PIO-C64U cards in one computer.

These cards support various OS versions, such as Linux, DOS, Windows 98/NT/2000 and 32/64-bit Windows 8/7/Vista/XP.
